Aspen
Vista® Collar Replacement Pads
Pad Removal
To remove the pads on the front piece of the collar, simply peel the pads away from the hook dots that attach them to the plastic.
To remove the pad on the back panel, you must first unthread the straps on each side. To do this, push the straps through the slits in the pad and then through the slots in the outer edge of the plastic.
Pad Washing
To wash the pads on your Aspen Vista collar, hand wash the pads with soap and water. Rinse out all soap. Gently squeeze out excess water. Allow to air dry (6 to 8 hours typically). Do not place pads in a washer or dryer.
All pads are intended to have the green side facing the plastic, attaching to the hook dots, and the white side facing the patient.
To reattach the pads on the front of the collar, properly align the bottom (larger) pad with the corresponding hook dots and the plastic circle component of the collar.
For the upper pad, ensure that the top piece covers the front and rear edges of the plastic components.
To replace the back pad, begin by attaching the green side of the pad to the hook dots on the back panel. Once the padding is aligned with the plastic, the straps will need to be rethreaded through the padding and plastic slots.
