Forget about the heavy and uncomfortable plaster longette!
For limb immobilization, choose modern Yogips thermoplastic splint!

What are Yogips Thermoplastic Splint?

Yogips are innovative thermoplastic splints designed to provide superior support and comfort for patients with extremity injuries. Developed by our partner Woosam Medical (Republic of Korea), the product line uses a special thermoplastic polymer material that softens from in elevated temperatures between 70°C to 90°C and hardens in just 3-5 minutes. Yogips provides quick and effective immobilization after various limb injuries. The thermoplastic longette is industrially padded, cut, and available for different limbs and comes in different sizes, so that it can be individually adapted to the anatomical features and dimensions of every individual patient.

What are the benefits of Yogips Thermoplastic Splint?

Re-customizable: By repeatedly heating the longette in a heating device up to 90°C, the shape of the Yogips can be reshaped, for example, when the edema of the limb decreases.

Various sizes and models: Thermoplastic longettes are available in various models and sizes for both adults and children.

Industrially cut and shaped: Industrially prepared forms ensure quick and easy use by medical professionals.

Light but durable: Despite the rigid and durable design, Yogips longettes are lightweight. These features ensure patient comfort without losing the strength of the longette and without reducing the stable immobilization of the limb.

Breathable: Breathable padding and longette fixation with straps ensure excellent ventilation, reducing the risk of skin irritation during prolonged use.

X-ray transparent: Yogips materials are X-ray transparent, and it is not necessary to remove the longette for X-ray examination. This ensures higher patient comfort and promotes faster and more efficient medical care.

Easy to remove and put on:  If necessary, patients can remove the longette themselves and then put it back on, for example, if they need to wash.
